Dan Brekke delivers an energetic mix of country, blues, rock, and original music that guarantees a great time for every crowd. With a natural stage presence and a knack for connecting with audiences, his shows blend musicianship, storytelling, and just the right amount of humor.
Raised in a musical family, Dan found his passion early—growing up around performances and honing his skills at his family’s Jasper’s Theater in Park Rapids, MN. A multi-instrumentalist known for guitar and fiddle, he quickly made a name for himself, joining the Johnny Holm Band at just 19 and touring across the Upper Midwest.
After moving to Nashville, Dan spent over three years performing on Broadway and developing his songwriting craft. His latest EP, “Long Time Running,” showcases his authentic sound and dedication to the art of country music.
From small-town roots to big-stage experience, Dan Brekke brings heart, talent, and high-energy entertainment to every performance.
Classic Golden Oldies of the 50's and 60's
Hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, The 1270's is a 50s and 60s band playing all the classic Golden Oldies. Elvis, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and anything that makes you get up and dance. The band got its name from the classic Sioux Falls Radio Station KIHO. Tuning to channel 1270 AM in the late 50s, KIHO was the go-to station to hear the new style of music they called Rock 'n Roll!
